When is it going to stop?
I really need to get on with some work outside but we've only had a couple of dry days in the last month and most of those were during the working week!
Strange weather patterns, its been nice here for weeks but only a few miles away they have had lots of rain. Are you sure you haven't left the garden sprinklers on

been hardly any rain in 5 weeks. then 2 nites ago the heavens opened and it was bouncing for 20 minutes and all the gravel drive flooded . its been raining on and off since . just down the road they didn't get any . it has to end somewhere

Lol, Angus coast, one of the driest places in the UK, don't tell everyone though, we don't want all the riffraff coming NorthSteady, now
It's been a funny year weather wise all round this year. The last couple of years I've been picking strawberries and raspberries on the Allotment from mid June. This year I only started last week.
Makes me glad I'm not a weather forecaster.

Stafford Classic Bike Show yesterday, big local show been going on for years. Forecast was for it to hammer down all day. Which it did in the morning, but after lunchtime it dried up and I took a ride over, all of 3 miles....
Very hot, humid and muggy though, traipsing around in bike gear.
Later on I popped out on the bike again, for some beer, 7 pm, sun was shining, but it literally poured down the whole time I was out. With the sun still shining brilliantly.
Mind you, local newspaper is predicting thunderstorms and floods today.... again.

Plenty of haar but that is par for the course when we get some hot (for Scotland) sunny days.

Well, ours too; especially in the Fife eastern alps - can barely see end of the garden sometimes!
Spike Milligan wrote a book about him The Great McGonagall..........it was really funny......they made it into a film with Peter Sellars....it wasnt as good as the book
