I've been after a legit source of this stuff bloomin' yonks and finally sourced some yesterday, with the likelyhood of more to come!

Obviously I'll leave a chunk as is, but what have you made your pieces into by either forging or fabricating? Doorstops is already understood to be an option!

broken toes are us i can see the apeal but leaving a large heavy metal with edges where you walk through not the greatest idea

cut a slice off and keep it as a anvil

Grind the tops into different profiles for forging/ forming over?

Drill a hole in the top and a cross drill through the side, excellent for riveting and general punching etc.
