You can still buy pre punched flat, dciron sell it as I saw it on their site when ordering some hinges on Tuesday. I imagine brundles etc sell it too.

You can weld the rail head straight onto the horizontal stringer but I always think it looks cheap.

It always looks to me as if the fabricator couldn't be ar$$ed to do the job properly when they are stuck on like that.

Yes punched bar is widely available square and round. Post us up a picture of the wall top and I/ we can put some ideas forward of the how to bit. its easy stuff usually but if your not used to doing it the tendency is to overthink it

AH, walkers, and walking poles,and cagoules, I'm preparing to launch , some of them have become as agressive as cyclists, I had some, if not several, coming through my remote retreat insisting they were right.
So, Ordnance Survey map, 1:50.000, wassat? church wiv steeple, good, wassat, church wiv tower, good, good, wassat, track, ermmm, yes but wassat, what, taint nowt here, look agin, what?, see that? what? that line there, but thatsa smudge on the map, nah taint, thats a gate across a track and thats the glory of the best maps in the world, and thats why, you need to git orff moi laaaand, and close the smudge on the map arter ya

Hi Everyone, sorry for the abrupt unannounced absence, I have no feeling in my lower legs and feet and last Thursday I went in for my usual three monthly check up with the Doctor only for him to find a nail had gone through my shoe and was lodged in my toe. He sent me to hospital (no flipping Wi-Fi ) and they had to remove part of my toe and get me on to intravenous antibiotics, anyway long story short I got out yesterday dinner time and I'm home again, toe is not so good and I might have to go back and have the rest of it off.

Thanks for all of your help with the railheads thing, my wife has decided that she wants a metal and wood fence with railheads on the top and the railheads painted with non-drying paint (talk about overkill), I think she would be better off with guard towers, floodlights and machine guns.

Next help sought will be "how do I weld these on here", "what have I done wrong", "can anyone help coz I am stuck" type questions.

wow, that don't sound good Diabetes? Just consider the solid approach if you get big winds, seen solid panels and gates come out like someone hit them with a truck before now in windy spots

Type 1, I lost my Pancreas in the accident but I also damaged the nerves to my legs and hands, I have no feeling below the knee in my right leg and mid-thigh in my left leg, I also have no feeling in my pinkie finger and half of the palm in each hand. I don’t know if I have Neuropathy or not.

I am thinking of making the wood part double sided, one piece, gap, another piece, and the same on the reverse of the fence so I ended up with a solid looking fence with gaps for the wind to pass through, if that makes sense.

That's the kind we made at this place and we get winter winds regularly in the 60mph range. Just remember to do the boards vertical and not horizontal or else you end up with a nice ladder Muppets round here do that one all time...

They call that Yorkshire board round here, it works though I cant imagine the design total. Sounds like you had a very close call there, a difficult combination to manage no doubt at all
