Well managed to get it lifted with strap under the bed by the headstock and moved the carriage till it was balanced! Was harder getting the engine hoist back in beside it but it survived the Rosyth to Renfrewshire drive and I'm home with it!

Just realised it's not a little John mk2 but the Raglan "5 inch", got confused trying to find similar pics when first searching as some were miss labeled!

The 5" is much better especially the apron as the mk2 i had could be a bugger to disconnect power feed under load it uses a completely different design

The one in the photo looks to be bench-mounted. Some of the dimensions you might find could refer to the cabinet mounted one.

Same size though.
