Rage Saw Clamp

Has anyone modified their rage saw with a new clamp? to do away with the pretty useless one supplied?

No, when I needed to clamp I just used a G clamp or the ratchet style ones. The original is pretty pants tbh.

i was thinking to try this http://www.screwfix.com/p/adjustable-band-clamp/16857 for my round stock before making something from wood to G clamp

i use the built in clamp to make sure everything is in place before putting g clamps on

i think the built in clamp too short
