recently I offered my rage 4 chop saw.
glad that I didn't sell it.
I had a new back plate that hold the saw in place made to accept a larger holes(22.23mm bore) cutting disc.
fitted a 150mm cutting disc and cut a 19mm round bar.
cut 6 pieces off with no problems.obviously it doesn't cut as fast as the larger chop saw.
the motor showed no sign's of over heating in fact it was cool.
these were design to cut small bolts with the metal saw blade.
I can fit a 180 cutting stone as these are plenty full.
I have a wood star chop saw m/mart it will only accept machine mart blades and at £4.50 or so. thats worked out over £2 each.
180mm cut/stones are £1.20 ea..smith and arrow 25 for £30 inc p&p.
I don't know if there are any cheaper ones that are any good.
only looked on ebay.
