radial arm saw blades.

I have been lucky enough to have been given one of these but it needs a better blade, are they the same as for a circular saw or are they different being that they cut backwards ?
its a 250 x 30 that i need.

I have a 5 DEGREE NEG RAKE BLADE my radial arm saw.

what do you intend cutting, this will determine which type of blade you need, its a bit like the "how long is a bit of string " question

Something else to consider I replaced my radial arm saw fine wood blade with one the same diameter and number of teeth but it was slightly thicker, it works OK but there is a much larger kick when you pull the trigger.
