Yes mate I do have one. Only recently got it and used it a few times. Not yet read the manual fully. I might have a few other issues like water in the line etc Plus I have never used a plasma before and find it hard to draw round things.

So to be honest I used it and it did the job for me. darn sight easier than a cutting disc and hole saw. But I would not say it was awesome yet..

I like to be honest.

I do feel much of the problem is my end and not the unit and as I have been ill for a couple of weeks and not had time to get in the garage I feel there is a lot more to come from the unit when I get a circle cutter made etc more practice and a water filter fitted. Will keep you updated...just remind me.

I have the early R-Tech p40hf,it still does what it says on the tin
You'll need by rights a 32amp supply on the 50 amps though

I got myself a 40 as an early chrimbo pressie last year; as above the operator has not yet caught up with his new purchase, I get the feeling it's more capable than I am. It's done everything I've asked it to do, which so far is mainly slice through quarter plate and bar; it does this like it's a hot knife through butter.

I have an R-Tec P30C. I bought it 3 months ago, and I am using it commercially in my workshop for about 8-10 hours a week cutting 3, 5, 6 & 8mm M/S plate. My R-Tec plasma cutter has done as much work in 3 months as my LTD did in 3 years!

I did use an LTD 416 combined 3-in-1 Plasma/stick/tig machine which I stuffed before replacing it with the R-Tec. The 40amp Plasma cutter on the 416 was nowhere near as clean cutting, capable or comfortable to use as my 30 amp R-Tec, and I am also getting considerably better consumable lifespan.

Including the normal production, one-off and bespoke work that passes through my workshop, this week I have also been making some mesh Varroa floors, Hornet traps, and mesh covered open top transport frames from 3mm X 3mm welded 316 mesh for myself and a few other local beekeepers, and the straight line clean plasma cuts I am getting on the SS mesh is almost comparable with a guillotine cut.
