For a hand rail, I needed a 50cm radius quarter turn bit of 34mm tube. Just the one bit.
The press normally is used to swage wire rope fittings. For this use I made a shoe for the ram and two grooved rolling gate wheels.
The curve is formed by short pushes every 25mm. After the first pass I checked the curve and completed it on a second pass.
The jack is a 20t, but a 5t wouild have done it. Total time to run up the bits and form the curve was about 1 1/2 hrs.
