Another eBay bargain lathe.no mention of "ex" school/college though so that puts me right off, or I'd be in there like a shot

Would not say it was a bargain I picked up my Colchester Master lathe a lot cheaper and a lot newer (the square head model). Yes it has a bit play but it does my needs. Whats a cheque book?

me first dibbs, just took the hammer to the little ceramic pig on the mantle piece......only £3,899.99p in there though.......penny short. might make a cheeky offer and see if I get it

The main part of this lathe tell a story of being looked after with nice clean paint and not too much wear, tis a pity the saddle tells a different story dis-coloured oil stained paint...

I'd prefer to buy from Home and Workshop Machinery for that price, at least they have a reputation to keep...

I think eBay item 261802850848 is a better bargain for a mini lathe, ideal for the garden shed.

There is a big Harrison on Preloved, looks like an L6 for £650 no connection to me & the pics are dreadful but it might suit someone!

pretty much the same cirumstances regarding getting booted out a unit and leaving machinery behind enabled myself to buy a Harrison 11" for £495....that paticular bantam atm is a bargin iff the price stays stable
