Quick turning job..again

Would anyone be kind enough, or capable enough to turn an oddball external thread for me?

2” major
1.722” minor
55 degree
4 tpi

Tube, pipe, hex or round bar is good with me, and payment is guaranteed..

I’d give it a go myself, but it’ll be months before I get this Kerry lathe put back together, it’s getting a repaint and a bit of a fettle currently - in very limited space!

Corr that’s a quick response..

The threaded part is currently 1” in length, which is fine, plus a bit on the back so I can stick it to some plate or hold it in a vice would be handy.

Steel would be fantastic, if possible?

In a fashion, yes. The jaws are bellmouthed in the chuck, and apparently a company near by can fettle it back in to shape. BUT, I need a mock spindle so they’re able to hold it, or something..

Ahh righto! Be easier to regrind them yourself wouldn’t it?

To get it 100 % the chuck should be ground on the lathe it will be used on
I can make you a dummy mandrel ether way
The chuck will have a register it locates on the size of that is critical

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to sort measurements out, but from what I can work out they’re different to at least two other Kerry lathe threads, or I’ve measured wrong.
