Today ive had a go with ac on aluminium. also ive had some help in mastering
the art. im told that ive been dipping the rod in to much. anyway ive found
aluminium easy compared to dc for starters the tungstone does not have to be kept in the gas it dont seem to get contaminated also the rod seems to just flow in easy. now with stainless on dc it does not seem to flow as easy unless you turn it up then you seem to get contamination ive had a go tonight with my dc set and i do seem to be getting better feeding in the rod every 2 to 3 seconds but when it comes to making a fillet look neat im crap
where am i going wrong. cheers oceanobsession
