Hi

I was cutting grass today with a customer small lawnmower. There is only a small amount so a cheap mower fair enough.

But this is what happened . I think the casting was made out of irn bru cans.

He has already taken two back because they have broken. He said he is going to try a third time.

Goodness. When you think of how fast that blade is spinning and the damage it could do as it flies off that’s kinda worrying!

I was just cutting front grass. I ran over a few small stones nothing that I wouldn't do with any other mower.

Don't know what he has been cutting but i think the part just failed.

I don't think I would want a replacement (unless I'd fallen out with my ankles). That should be reported to trading standards.

tell him to cut hes own grass if he wont pay out for something that will not make you need cruches for the rest of your life

or ask him to pay the extra and you will provide the mower for the cutting hes got no costs for maintance as well as no cost for the mower as well then
