iam looking at trying to move into working offshore and currently have friends working in different feilds and as i work for a fabrication company they seem to think that the easiest ay to do this is as a rigger welder and here is my dilema i can arc weld to a decent standard but have learnt this on the job same with mig welding so what i would like to know is what qualifications are actually worth the paper they are written on
and would help me ive tried looking for this info in companys that deal with offshore welding but have not found anything useful so any help would be much appriecated
