Pyrex cups

Just dropped my wp20 off the bench and smashed my ck Pyrex cup anyone got any recommendations for a replacement

Most of us use a standard 7/8 for 90% of jobs.
Anything where visibility or extra gas coverage is needed we run Fupa12 ceramics. You can get away with a long stick out with them.

I normally do just use standard ceramic cups but thought I’d break my nice one out and it turned literal

I’ve been buying Chinese #12 pyrex cups from eBay for while and found them to be as good as anything. They’re also about half the price of the popular brands.

Happens to us all. When I got my first pyrex kit to took the cup out of the package, fumbled it and smashed it to pieces on the ground.

Poor thing didn’t even make it to the torch.

Think I've broken 1 maybe 2 ceramics in the last year.

On the plus it’s survived nearly 6yrs so guess i got my money’s worth

Yeah pyrex..... they're fragile buggers... even the furick ones with the titanium shroud/cover..

I run the white ceramic furick FUPA 12 ones now on pretty much everything apart from ally, they seem a bit tougher..

1 think they did teach me though is to make a decent knock proof, secure hook/stand for my torch and fit it on my bench
