Put a camera inside my Air Tanks

I sprayed Dynax S-60 inside my compressors. I'll let you know if it works in fifty years time.

I would think that could have been nasty, compressed air & oil products are a bad mix & will self ignite. I wouldn’t recommend it in future.

Yes that's an interesting idea if it got the lower 3rd of the tank even would help limit corrosion

The big tank is sixty years old, worth a bit of care at this stage.

Update:

When I went to drain my 200L SIP compressor it became aparant that the previous owner had swapped over an old bleed valve from another compressor! Therefore it was jammed solid and not bleeding any air or water.

I took it out to clean and discovered a rust hole right through it when I scraped the junk out. So I welded it up solid after letting the water out and ordered a new drain valve.

I worked at a place that made roller shutter doors & on a cold morning the pop rivet guns wouldn't work until you set them in front of the space heater. One day I decided to drain the compressor tank, not easy as they had it precariously mounted up high on some racking. So much water came out that I reckoned the 200l tank must have been nearly full of water!
Strangely enough the rivet guns worked perfectly fine after that.
Didn't stay there too long as H&S was non-existant. The owner was a real scrooge & wouldn't spend the money on even basic equipment. The only staff that would stay were the Polish guys & even they only lasted a few months.
