Hey All!
Running into some problems with our new pulse arc (argon) jewelry welder. If I grind up a new sharp tip on the tungsten, gas running, and start welding - about 10 spot welds down and the tip has burnt (exploded) off. Even on the lowest power setting and least about of milliseconds on weld.
Additionally, it seems to stick to materials a lot. The welder naturally pulls the electrode back when it welds, but some how it seems to stick still quite often.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
