I had a tin of black cellulose from Jawel Paints and it was perfect. I have been using it to brush paint all the suspension parts, it went on smooth, covered the epoxy primer in one coat, but I gave it two, then I ran out!
I went to get another can, but they wanted almost as much as the paint to post it, so I ordered a tin of black cellulose from the bay. Opened it today, it was very thick and I spent ages stirring it. It was so thick I tipped some in a pot noodle pot and added a bit of quality thinners, when I brushed it on it was like water, not thin, but about the same covering power as water!
I thought Maybe I had thinned it too much so I added more from the tin, was pretty thick now, but when you brush it on the brush leaves tracks that you can see the primer through. I changed to the finest brush I have and it almost covered, but 30 minutes later when touch dry, you could hold a lamp to it and it had the see through quality more like like a lacquer.
I spent all day doing two coats, I will see how it is in the morning, but I think it will need a third coat.
It was £26 for the tin so it shouldn't be crap
