Pub bottle

Hi guys bumped in to a old mate and manged to score some pub co2 from his pub he's getting the bottle etc on his account just paying the refill fee I'm assuming that the reg I need is the female thread as no diff to any other bottle from boc etc as need to buy one as mine is the hobby bottle style

Check the gas, not all pub gas is pure CO2, quite a bit is a CO2 / Nitrogen mix - three common ratios from 30/70, 60/40 to 50/50

Cliff just be aware when you connect a reg to the CO2 bottle, the bottle gauge won't show a great deal of pressure as the gas is liquid and you only see the pressure of the gas above the liquid (does not mean your bottles empty!)
