pub bottle exchange, sheffield....

hey up all

any of you sheffield lads know where to exchange pub Co2 bottles, there's aplace that supplies pub stuff to the trade near to where i work but am not sure whether they deal with joe public, i think i'll pop my head in and ask

anyone know for definite someone that'll sell to the public?

i've been toying with the idea of going gasless but my cebora can't use it which means using the sip130t dp

I got my last bottle of CO2 from a supplier at Wadsley Bridge, on the left going out of town just before you get to the railway bridge. They sell proper welding gasses, they are pricey but I thing they will take any bottle in exchange.

Also I believe Energas are pretty good on prices.

If you really want pub gas rather than proper welding gas then I can't help.

i would prefer argoshield5 or similar, i just thought of the Co2 as i have a couple of bottles in the garage and it would be cheaper (been off work about 5 weeks injured so money is getting a bit tight now)

i think i'll check out the wadsley bridge place when i'm back at work and have a bit of disposeable income

I use Energas out in Attercliffe, local enough to go and get a new bottle in a hurry etc.

proper monthly/yearly rental though.

I believe Calor on Shepcote Lane rent the pub style CO2 bottles. That's where I got mine from, but it was a few years ago. Haven't been back since, and bottle now needs refilling also.
