Pto clutch

When you drive 5 miles back to the workshop with the pto in drive and a locked shaft this is the result. And he wondered why smoke was coming from the breather. I've seen some bad one's but this is the worst.

Unfortunately yes. I honestly do not know what you would need to do to get the sack from this company.

You could argue abuse, but I would have expected the tractor to stall rather than destroy the clutch.

If you want real abuse, my brother worked for somebody who managed to melt all 4 clutch packs into a solid lump on one of the original MF Dyanshift's. The dealer couldn't even separate the clutch packs with a sledgehammer on the floor. Nobody could ever figure out how he did it, and he never admitted how he did it, but he paid the repair bill and it never happened again...

Oh it stalled the engine 5 times before it slipped. The driver said " I kept giving it more revs but it kept stalling "

I saw a similar one with a JD, not as bad as that but the clutch packs where proper roasted!
He didnt want to pay for changing a couple of gearbox sensor so did it himself.....got it very wrong! gearbox tried to engage forward and reverse at the same time!
