i am aware that Patreon had a data breach in 2015 however i have good reason to believe that they have been breached within the last year.

I have JUST had one of those scam extortion emails quoting my Patreon password. the password is less than a year old and only used on that site...

change your passwords on Patreon and any sites that that password is shared on people

This is why you dont share passwords between different websites or accounts

and is why i dont. search google password manager for the compromised password (i use random string passwords only) and then 30 secs later ive logged into patreon and changed it.
