I have a truck bed in bare metal coated with a product called easyphos protecting it from rusting.
When I’m doing the body work ie. hammer and dolly plus shrinking disc on panels I’m just chipping away at it each day for small amounts of time and could be working on one section for days / weeks.
Do I need to worry about rust after each session especially when using water with shrinking disc? What could I put on the metal that won’t mess with the shrinking disc etc for the sections I’m working on that would protect it? I’ve been reapplying the easyphos every day if I worked on the truck for peace of mind but it’s not the best to be breathing in and I’m worried that small amounts constantly is not good.
appreciate any guidance
