For those that apparently know nothing about nailing timbers together - nails knocked straight in can be pulled straight out (relatively easily); nailed ‘on the tosh’ very much prevents the timbers being pulled apart. Try it - and you might learn something.

Do you mean "on an angle", as in "dovetail nailing"?

doing some manual nailing on cladding...as it bounces around the others are coming out a tad , im gussing i want some with a serrated finish ?

what am i looking for ? what are they called , its manual nailing no air gun

Galv. round wire nail. 2.65mm, 2mm pilot drill through the cladding before nailing to prevent splitting. How do I know?
