What seems like a very long time ago, I asked a website designer to setup a site for me which I could easily change/update myself. He did this using Wordpress, and for years and years, everything was wonderful. But one day I logged on to make some changes to the site and Wordpress had changed; the old “Classic” editor was gone and a new “Block” editor is there.
So I plod my way through it and create a simple page, which appears on the site, but when I search for it via Google, Goggle appears to find it , but when I click on it, it takes me to my site but only to a page which says “Page not Found”.
The new page is at the bottom of a “nest of pages”, but there is another page at the same level which is almost identical, and Google finds that with no problem (but that page was created using the Classic editor). I've tried all sorts of changes but I'm getting nowhere.
Any ideas please?
