I added a separate regulated and smoothed 24volt DV power supply per the mods detailed here - all was well at first but now the speed control has blown (I think) as there is no control - wire is coming too fast and can't get it to slow - the weld is just beading up on the surface and there is no penetration. Have others had this problem after this mod? - I do have a PWM speed control on order and should be here any day but it is anoying in the mean time as I'm halfway though a job I wanted finished this weekend. (moving in three weeks)
