Well not so much a problem but one for me of how to store, keep tidy etc, so did some simple CAD, played with the Plasma cutter and ended up with these:



Have to try and form them next and a lick of paint perhaps, don’t have a press yet but have a Clarke bender so hope to be able to do as per shape A

Not a new concept and sure I could buy them, but where is the fun in that.

The second bend was better on the Clarke metal press, but a lot of faff changing things.

What I want are tools with mini 16 amp sockets on them so there are no leads to get tangled up. Just one lead for all your tools.

I have tried it with some computer plugs and sockets, it is like power tool nirvana, but those were not 13 amp rated.

what you need are the powercon sockets and plugs see here

Powercon are fantastic - just make sure you use them the correct way.

Blue to Feed.
Grey to Receive.

So you would want a grey socket on the tool and the matching connector on the cable.

Expensive way to go though! Most of my Projection kit is on them, as they're lovely compact connectors. Rated to 20a, but you can get a 32a version.

They would do, but I've got a mixture of 110 and 240 v tools.
