Ive had an Aldi power craft/wolf air compressor for three years but only just started using it recently so its out of warranty by a month
The compressor turns on and seems to run fine but every now and again the safety blow off valve discharges air with a loud hiss for around 5-10 seconds. It says in the book that it is due to a faulty pressure switch. I know the 'pull up to turn on' switch sometimes sticks in the off position (down) and other times it will spring back up like it should. Is this connected to the problem? Is it a faulty switch thats causing the hiss? If so is the switch needing replaced or can i adjust it? Thanks
