Printing TPU

Printing TPU with the standard settings is _SLOOOOOOOW_

about 3-4x the time compared to the same file in PETG.

However, and maybe everyone already knows this:

On the P1S, using Geeetech TPU, changing the "max volumetric speed" from 3mm²/s to 15mm²/s doesn't negatively affect the quality, but makes the print times *almost* comparable to PETG/PLA etc.

They use rather bizarre terminology for something that would normally be called 'flow rate'.

In addition, the units are incorrect as they represent an area per second.

I cannot see any obvious way to combine volume (in cubic millimetres) with speed (millimetres per second) to achieve square millimetres per second.

I imagine the "Hardended Steel vs E3D 0.4mm High Flow ObXidian" hot end upgrade my lad fitted to his X1C would help too.

I have no idea.
I know they speak better English than I do Chinese, though.

Regardless, it _does_ make a significant to print speed.

It may be that they actually mean mm/s as a feed rate for the filament into the nozzle.
