Printer motherboard fuse.

I have cracked on with trying to get my printers working.
The good news is I got the P50 with a massive clog in the black, printing all the rest of the colours great.
So I took out the head to test the one out of the 1500W whilst I soaked the P50 head in solution.

I then found the cables to the head are a different size. I was led to believe they were interchangeable.

Anyway lets hope the blockage gets cleared.

In the mean time it appears a non printing printer is often a blown fuse on the mother board.
I do need help in identifying the value and a source in the UK as I don't want to wait till February for Ali (express)

You're going to have to strip it and get some accurate measurements, and also check for continuity at the same time.

My guess from the 10 marking, if it is a fuse, is 100mA.
10mA is far too low to have traces that size, and I doubt it would be 10A.

Apparently they go during a cleaning cycle. But it's hard to get much information on printer repairs for desktop printers.
That said with the prices of an A3 Eco tank starting around 699 and you still get the problem with blocked heads if its not used often enough my guess is there will be margins in repairng desktop printers soon.

I have already purchased a new head so if the old head caused it it might be ok.

They list a number on Ali Express. But it does not throw anything up in a search.

"10" is an odd marking for an SMD fuse - normally they have a single letter. That said, I can't imagine what else "F.." would denote

Might be worth lifting both of them and checking impedance / capacitance. On the assumption that at least one of them works then 0 ohms and minimal impedance would confirm it's a fuse. RS, Farnell and Mouser can all get you appropriate fuses quicker than aliexpress, although I would say that I've got most of my Ali deliveries in around a week, for the last few months.

That's what I was wondering.
It could just be a 10ohm resistor, that is implemented as a fuse.
