I'm not sure how or why but it was half the price setting my my boc account online than in a shop

Well I never!
I've just checked it and it is indeed a 43kg Y cylinder

I used to regularly train with and use 30kg long duration compressed air breathing apparatus in the Fire service for over 17 years and they felt nowhere near as heavy!

.....to make it worse I'm also ex Infantry and used to lug a 120lb+ Bergen with anti tank, wire guided missile system (another 30kg) over long distance up, down and over mountainous terrain

When I went to collect my Y cylinder the guy just dragged it 50m or so across the rubble/concrete yard by its shroud..

I used to be able to get up and carry a W oxy on my shoulder when I was younger now they are closer to 70+ KG I would think,
Mind you I could carry two people fighting out of a club, used to do that on a nightly basis NOW I have a job to carry myself home !!

Thanks I got one. £75.72 pa for y size bottle and 43.96 per refill of pure shield

With BOC I pay £36 per refill and £8.64 per month rental on Pureshield. This is for full sized cylinders
