Price for hot rolled 8mm and 10mm round bar?

My local supplier has closed. and I need to prepare a quote for a job which will need about 40-50ft of 8mm or 10mm bar - something I've never used before
Can someone give me a rough idea of price?
I'm guessing it's gonna be pretty cheap?

I pay £3.50 ish a length for a 6m length of 10mm round. We buy a lot though.

cheers Paul - gives me a figure to work on - I'll use £15 to cover the cost of 40ft (double what you pay) - especially if I use 8mm instead.
It's only a fraction of the job (mostly labour), but I want to give the lass a fair quote - and as i said, I have NO idea

I pay about £3.00 for 8mm. Stupid cheap really.
Always double the material costs and buy extra for a rainy day

My supplier (Dunkerleys in Dewsbury) don't do 8 or 10mm
12mm is the smallest @ £5 for a 20ft length.
will have to phone round a few places now...

got a quote of 8.00 just down the road. (stansfields, crossgreen, leeds)

We used to use Stannys a lot, but find they are expensive.

I *am* trade, but asked for a price for a single bar, as a one-off - she did say if I bought more, she could do a discount.
