Prepreg Carbon fibre cloth

I’ve aquired a load of Epoxy prepreg carbon fibre cloth in different weights/weaves.

Only problem is, its timed out and selfcured to some extent. I’ve just tried warming a bit up and it becomes very pliable, keeps its shape, but once cool returns to a semirigid state and the epoxy crumbles [again].
However this was only a waft over with a heat gun, you could see the epoxy almost melt into the weave. Maybe heatgun tomould, and then in an oven

So suggestions on what to use it for, and does it have any commercial value.

I wonder how it might react to having some fresh new resin brushed onto it. Bit belt and braces but it might help soften it up and form a decent bond.

I'd be more than happy to try some myself if you have enough to spare....

Isn't it prepreg that needs storing in a freezer, then vacuum bagging and oven curing to harden?

Just unrolled one of the 5’ rolls and its completely cured....So todays mad idea is to cover my workshop floor with it then epoxy over the top to seal it.

Stick it to a piece of ply and make a carbon fibre covered coffee table??

Made these up today. Doors for the leccy cupboard in the workshop.

Used contact adhesive to glue the matt down

Carbon fibre is lovely stuff. I am only ever so slightly jealous.

He gets me some lovely flat cured off cuts.

I’ve got some 10 mm strips to make a handle for a knife
