Well, perhaps.
On my comp - a Mac - it's deffo a pdf, and can't be changed by calling it something else. I could open it on Photoshop, then save it as any number of different formats.
So on MY computer, i'm right.
They compooder things be moighty con-fuusing to a simple cuuntry bouy like me tho.
Edit... Ah! Now! I see, it IS a jpg. BUT my computer just saves it as a pdf. Hmmm
Bah! Mines a Mac too and I had to download it rather than look at it in Safari. Perhaps the site doesn't like Macs...
And come on, they don't get much easier than a Mac. But then that's probably why you have one. It's certainly why I do!
I've read about that machine before but hadn't realised it was anywhere near that big. It's bloody huge! I like the idea of wave and tidal power. Far less invasive that windmills and far more predictable.

Continuing with the off topic bit... Archie, I'm not sure really. Thought I preferred it cos it was quicker and looked better, but having had a quick go on Safari just now, i'm not so sure.
A while ago I went onto Firefox as it I preferred it visually, and it had lots of plug ins, then onto Camino cos Firefox was fast, but a great lump on the OS, and slow to load (previous comp was a bit short on speed and ram).
The novelty soon wore off on the plug ins, particularly when speed became less of an issue with a faster comp and better internet access, but I kept with the Mozilla/Firefox/Camino look because of being used to it. So now, I guess, i'd say Safari is as good as the others. Probably was all the time, grass is greener syndrome.
And yes, I know Safari has plug ins too.
Hate Opera though.

When I last used Camino/Firefox it was because of all the plugins available but, like you say, the novelty wore off and I went back to Safari which is much simpler. There is one plugin I have in Safari which is awesome and free. It's called Inquisitor. Give it a go!
As for Opera, I agree. Hideous. Unfortunately it gets installed with any of the Adobe apps so I have it kicking around somewhere. Never use it though!
It sure is nice not to have to get involved with the 'which anti-virus' thread though!

, how do those things harness the wave power? I envisage hydraulic rams between the sections which push fluid around somehow, but then surely that would result in a reciprocating flow of fluid, whereas I assume a circular one would be better?
