Hi Guys!
Getting ready to break out the R-TECh TIG I have just bought now that christmas is over. Just need to sort out the garage and build a welding table and I will be ready to start practising.
I am going to be practising on mild steel, I have some plates that vary from 2mm to 4mm to use - will the 2% CE tungstens and 1.6 mild steel filler rods be okay for this?
I have also purchased a new bench grinder and an angle grinder. What sort of stone should I be preparing the tungstens on and which type of flap wheel do I need for the grinder to clean the steel?
One last thing, can anybody think of any other items I will need such as wire brushes etc?
Thanks in advance!
Shaun
