Hi;
I have nearly finished repairs in my boot (replaced the back end and corners, new inner arches etc) I will also be doing the Inside of the Mini and the Underside.
I will be painting with Epoxy Primer and Cellulose Top Coat.
Any new metal and repair panels will be taken down to bare metal and I'll be applying U-POL Fantastic Filler in some areas but what should I do about the areas that still have the original paint on in good condition? I don't want (and can't) to take it all back bare metal so would I be OK just sanding it to give it a key and painting over it with Epoxy?
I have got 320 and 800 grit.
