I am going to buy a V205-TP or V205-T AC/DC lincoln welder. I have read in the specifications that the first one has a 32A (230 V) fuse in the power inlet and the second one a 16A (230V) fuse. How is it possible so different current range if two machines that have same output caracteristics when you use TIG or Stick DC process in both?.

No idea but despite both being 200A output and looking kinda similar they are very different beasts. If i had to guess i would say it was something to do with power factor correction and/or because the v205-t is an AC/DC machine and so has more witchcraft inside it than the DC only v205-tp
Someone that doesn't consider digital electronics to be witchcraft will probably be able to offer a better explanation/guess

I used to run my Lincoln v205-T AC/DC from a 16amp outlet, and also used a 13amp 3pin plug sometimes but never up to max output.
