First job tonight was to clean up the hole, I then slotted the bottom edge and folded the two parts up to make a straight line making the patch easier to fabricate.
The patch took me an hour of fettling to get to the correct shape.
I tacked it in place and started to weld but its a bit low so will finish it once its back on the lift. I was getting a few blow through that I had to patch up.
Once that's done I'll use a hole cutter for the pipes.
