Power but no gas?

Hi all.
Quick question on how to trouble shoot an issue I have with my tig inverter welder. If I us it on mma welding all goes OK. Switch to tig and the torch arcs but there is no gas flow. First guess is the gas solenoid has broken. How can I confirm this?
I've had a quick online for a replacement 24v solenoid. Prices seem to be about £25 is this in the ball park?
I'm a bit unsure on what's happening in the welder. As a couple of months ago it stopped arcing I either tog or arc. But the bullet and took it to be repaired. They had it for a couple of weeks to give a diagnosis of nothing wrong! Can only guess that something was loose and the trip in the car fixed it?

Ok,what type of inverter do you have,good starting point.

Cemont tx150 I've never been able to find any info on these.

You need to check if there is voltage present at the solenoid when the trigger is pressed.if there is,and theres no audible clicking,switch it.25 quid isnt too dear.i think i paid 15.
make sure its ac or dc,both are common
