powder coating

I have a job coming in that wants a 'natural metal look' it's a complex piece of work.
Clear coat is my first thought but polishing inside and outside it will be a nightmare.
is there a powder coat that can catch this look?
or paint? I dont fancy painting it myself but if not powder I could find a painter to do it

"Natural" means no coating & rust, I've never come across a clear coating that will preserve m/s without rusting.
It would be problematic to accept a job under that requirement imo

Clear resin painted on. Not cheap on a large project though.

It's going to live indoors, but will be moved about.
Im steering them towards powder coat. I've seen some that look almost like metal.
Galv would not work for this; too rustic a finish.
They are using the word 'natural' this is typical lay people
I can see what they mean
Now to steer them my way

Lechler (iirc) do a surface tolerant clear coat.

I sprayed the exhibition thing that I've mentioned prior with it, to halt the forced petina and it seemed to stick fine. That was only an indoor item though.

If you (or whoever) sprays it properly it's not like it will need polishing.

I'm sure I've seen a light coloured gun metal powder coating....looked just like plain steel to me...
