Posting links to other people's Ebay sales

As above, is this something (a) we are allowed to do and (b) will not get unofficially frowned upon by the membership as one of them might have been watching the item? I only ask as I've spotted something on Ebay which I think will be of interest to someone on here but seem to remember one member chiding another for the aforementioned 'someone might have been watching that hoping for a bargain' reason.

p.s. one is an item of blacksmithing equipment and the other a machine tool.

its a poor show iff we cant mention stuff on ebay incase we upset the "cudder,wudder,shudder" brigade...you do what your conscious tells you buddy as long as its not murder,theft, harm,or damage then its fair game

Post it and be damned as the press say. I've read where people say "I was going to bid on that at the last minute" and other such clap but if they want something they should do like the rest of us and set their limit then put it on. As long as you are not posting it in the For Sale section I can't see a problem. If you think it is specific to a certain member you could always PM them a link.

By all means post links to items you spot but not in the items for sale section as you did, only post items in there that YOU are selling please.
