Post-painting/curing fumes

Hellooooo.

Just a quick one...

I had some panels painted in 2-pack that were then collected 2 days later. I got them home and stored them in the spare bedroom but the cat has been sleeping in there. There is a faint whiff of thinners so I thought I'd ask a silly question....do the fumes represent just thinners or is there an Iso-cyanate risk?

Cat....newly painted panels.....same room.....you DO know felines have sharp claws, don't you?

I suspect no harm will come to your pet, if it felt uncomfortable it'd be off sleeping elsewhere, surely?

All you are smelling is the solvent coming out of the paint. Kitty may be getting high but you know yourself as a cat owner, he will not go near anything he considers bad for his health. As long as he has an escape, no problem.
