Post Knocker Stand

Hi Guys, Now the weathers changed and its time to put the post knocker away for the winter I decided to make myself up a stand to put it on and then put the whole lot on a pallet so I

can move it around easily.

It all worked great apart from the weight sliding about a bit if you moved it too fast or the incline is too steep . I tried a G clamp each side of the weight but that didn't work so i used a couple of ratchet straps around the weight itself .
Do you think that this will be OK or has anyone got any other ideas I could try,

Looks good, you could drill the column and fit a check pin top and bottom.
Is it a bought post whacker or homemade, I have a post whacker on my need to make list unless I pick one up cheap at auction.
