Possible Low Flow Rate?

Hi.

I'm currently using the disposable gas bottles on my Clarke 151TE and so have no gauge or anything.
I bought the torch flow meter doodad from Weldequip to give me some idea.

On full, I am only getting 5 litres per minute, is this right or do I have a problem somewhere?

I thought the little regulator might be faulty so I bought a new one. However, I'm getting the same result.

That is what the small regs supply. As it is a small torch, it should work ok.

My Clarke manual actually said use 2 LPM

I'd heard figures like 10 and 12 litres per minute bandied about and I thought, oops!

I didn't know a smaller torch would make a difference.
