Dear Welding Chums
Over the last few months (years actually) of trawling this excellent forum something has become apparent, hugely apparent.
It is this.
If I trade in my SIP 170 and buy a Portamig the following will happen:
I will make better welds.
I will have a well built, quality machine.
I will become better looking.
I will become younger and healthier (I will be able to stop smoking).
My wife will tell me, and mean it, that I really am a top studmuffin.
My '55 T'Bird will use less petrol.
I will be offered a job that I truly enjoy whilst being paid top money.
The list is endless.
I would be interested to hear any views that might be contrary to this.
If I don't hear anything and I'm sure I won't, I would like to hear from Mr Weldquip with a proposal for a suitable Portamig to replace my SIP.
Why doesn't he have a website for us to drool over?
I'm a hobby welder with interests ranging from butt welding old car panels (I do like the low amps on the SIP) to fabricating 2" box chassis for trailers etc.
Argoshield Light is my favoured gas.
Cheers
