got my portamig 215 today, big heavy thing, very nice. not had chance to use it yet as still fitting my kitchen (WREN KITCHENS = MFI RIDES AGAIN
). will have to get a digital camera so i can post some pics of my welding. hopefully do some practice this weekend before butchering my landrover.

. need some decent coveralls. blew a few holes, laid a few high beads with poor penetration but loved every minute. got the brother in law coming round tomorrow night (skilled welder and ex welding teacher) to clue me in a bit.
