Portamig 185 wirefeed spares.

As some will know I'm building a onboard weld set for my 4x4.

I had thought of a spool gun, but I'm now thinking about a standard setup, looking at some existing set photos I've been thinking of getting a spare wirefeed assy for a uk made mig set, mine is very good but they are out of production, so I was thinking about a portamig, the 185 looks cool as the feeder is part of the euro socket.
Can I buy the wirefeed and euro socket device complete as a spare part, and where from.

I believe MIGTIGArc has a feeder and euro socket on ebay.

Otherwise, I bet weldequip can get one.

wasnt there yesterday but there is today, looks the same as the portamig, 90 quid a bit pricy, but I spose the euro sockets built in.

After a bit of surfin I found a draper wirefeed assy for 42 quid, doesnt have the euro socke but the price is better, heres one:

But with the draper you lose the flexibility of a eurotorch (consumables, prices) and as you are looking at vehicle mounting it would be better to be able to remove the torch and pack it away?

Plus, the draper unit looks a bit plastic fantastic.

Other than the ultra low amp settings you get with a Portamig, the wire feed is, I feel, the best thing about it
