Thinking about getting one, But am I wasting my time?

I'm after one that I can put up & down at weekends to help stop the rain ending play!

Previously where I was living I had a car port & that was priceless

50 quid.
Cover is separate though folds up fine in place.
Can't fault it for the money. If it lasts a few years I'm happy.

We bought one for different reason, ok if no wind, and guyed down, any wind and its a waste of time.

Buy cheap buy twice

As @addjunkie has mentioned I don't want to buy a cheap one & it not last 2 minutes.

Are weights readily available? If not I would fill up some containers to use as weights instead

Il do as someone suggested and use 25 litre drums.
Prefer it over the 100 quid extruded Ali ones. Feels more solid.

I went for the 24mx one as see lots at race meetings/track days.

It is steel though and heavier but they dont fold like the cheap alloy ones do.
Needs to be bought on a discount deal though to make it sensible prices (£60ish)

Frame looks very similar but the covering looks better. Bit pricey though.

the ones we use at work start at 1400 but they are branded. aliminum frames and really big, my personal one is about £350 for 3m square but it works really well, Gala tents are the best in my view

That foldy one looks like ours excpt frame is white, but like I said in any wind edges just twist, frame around the roof is like a concertina thing.

Were actually looking for a better quality white one, easily moved about if anyone has any suggestions.

The horse brigade in the yard keep buying these cheap gazebos and they don’t seem to last more than a month, flimsy things that a gust of wind will take on a joyride . My advice would be to fill some gallon paint tins with concrete with a tube sleeve set in the middle to drop the legs in, anchoring down is the biggest challenge from what I have seen.

Iv got one similar to this and it’s steel, weighs a ton but hasn’t bent yet. The one I have has a replacement parts list in the box when I ordered it. Iv had it years and was £199 off eBay from a company called bulwark I think

We used to use it loads but it’s buried at the back of the garage. At home we have a cheapo eBay sail to keep what limited sun off us in the garden

I had one of the Aldi versions, worked well for 18 months, it was the perfect height to scuff the top of my head every time I didnt pay attention. Also had what I think was a homebase version, all loose poles that fell apart at the drop of a hat. Luckily I didnt buy either of them..

Mx 24, great for the money , race day had bad winds and rain , lots of the cheap ones blowing around the paddock ,

Surf and turf extruded alloy heavy gauge nylon sheets , worth the extra
Mines five years old used on site on most rainy days still looks like new
