Portable band saw stand/table

I need to get a band saw for a job I am doing that involves lots of small cuts of galv conduit. I have Makita 18v tools and wanted to buy a Makita 18v band saw to cut them with.
I need to be able to use it like a chop saw. Makita did do one but no one seems to sell it.
does any one know of anything similar.?
I thought about cobbling something together but I need it for a weeks time and don’t Want to faff about.

I would consider another brand but buying new batteries and charger is eye watering…. Haha

Hi Arash.
Don't know if this would be suitable, there are loads of angle grinder stands on "eblub" for about £20 that will convert a small grinder to a chop saw. Ok, not as good as a band saw but may get the job done.

I think the Makita one you are speaking of is 194026-3. In principle, if it is listed on Makita's UK website, it should be available through a dealer.

It is but the price is high:

Note also that the stand is for the corded version of their bandsaw (2107) and it is not clear if it will fit the 18v version. There is a DPB180RTE which looks the same as the corded version. The DPB182Z and DPB183Z look completely different.

Wow! That is more expensive then the cordless bandsaw,

that would be ideal though.

Thanks for that, the table is not what I need though. It’s got to be like a chop saw.

stop being picky is my opinion here

you need it for your job so buy one

you cant use a build one as it wont be insured

A cheap one seems to be the Femi one, sold by Stakesys on eBay. £99. Problem is it might not fit the Makita out of the box.

The other issue with it (and all the stands) is they seem to fit on the 'pushing' wheel end of the saw. That means the cutting pressure is on the movable jaw of the vise, and with a quick release screw, its life might be short.

I got one of these, its corded tho, I like it a lot and the OE table is much nicer than the one advertised on Stakesys
