Pop Rivets

Anyone got any experience of using pop rivets to fix wood to metal. Planning on fixing some wooden slats to a steel frame. Looking for a simple, cheap solution but never done this before.

Any experience or suggestion?

used flange head pops to fit ply into vans etc works a treat.

I've got tec screws which would do the trick nicely but just looking to try something different

Ok flange head pops are what I'm looking for, need them 4.8 by around 25mm ish. Can anyone recommend a supplier

any fasteners place usually have boxes on the shelf---- I know I do

last time I bought some the cheapest by far was screwfix at the time

I buy mine on ebay from a place 20 miles away! Price includes free delivery so it saves me taking time & using fuel to go & get them.

I have a right mix of pop rivets for various applications, so google the actual application to see if there is a specialist rivet for t'job.
